    The classes are live on Zoom or phone. We encourage questions, but more than questions, this is an experiential class. We will teach you information about Emotional Intelligence and then we will have you experience what you just learned.
  • How can I ask a question about the material?
    We will give you many opportunities to ask about the material. Our classes are structured to provide you with an experiential experience. Devory will answer questions during each live session. If we didn't address your question about the material during class, you can always leave us a confidential voicemail in our Call and Connect line and we'll do our best to answer it in the next session.
  • Who is the ELEVATE program designed for?
    If you would like your relationships to be happier and healthier, this program is for you. All you need is to be willing to try a new approach to handling your feelings.   • What if I can’t attend the live class?
    Joining live classes is the best way to get the most out of the course. If you miss a class, don't worry. We record each session and upload it to our phone line that day. Our Thursday session for 1:1 coaching covers the content of that week's lesson. After the course, you can purchase the recordings for $75 to revisit the material at your convenience.
  • What is included in our level 1 training program?
    Our level 1 training program consists of 3 parts: Foundations of Professional Coaching, Transformational Coaching and mentoring. The first 2 parts are comprising 30 hours, with a blend of synchronous (virtual) and asynchronous (homework) components and spans five days. For further information, please refer to the schedule. course schedule In the Foundations of Professional Coaching, participants will learn foundational coaching skills such as active listening, powerful questioning, and establishing trust with clients. This section of the program also covers ethical considerations and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) core competencies. The Transformational Coaching section builds upon the foundational skills and takes a deeper dive into advanced coaching techniques. Participants will learn how to help clients create lasting change and achieve their goals through a transformational coaching approach. This section also covers the importance of self-awareness and mindfulness in coaching. Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to practice coaching skills through peer coaching sessions and receive feedback from experienced coaches. By the end of the program, participants will have gained the knowledge and skills needed to become a certified coach or enhance their current coaching practice. This program provides ten mentoring hours, seven group hours, and three one-on-one sessions to provide participants with guidance, feedback, and support for personal and professional growth. Mentoring is part of the ICF requirements. Group hours allow participants to connect, practice coaching, and learn from peers and mentors. It helps students hone their coaching skills. One-on-one sessions provide personalized guidance. Completion of these requirements equips participants for success.

    Once you have successfully completed the training program and have achieved a level 2 standard, we have a protocol in place to send you client referrals. Our referral system is designed to match clients with the most suitable and competent coach. We take pride in our rigorous training process, which equips our coaches with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to deliver exceptional service. We believe that by maintaining these high standards, we can continue to build a strong and supportive community. This certification is for coaches who have completed at least 60 hours of coach-specific training, have completed 100 or more coaching hours, and have completed a performance evaluation from a qualified assessor. PCC stands for Professional Certified Coach and is also a certification granted by the ICF. This certification is for coaches who have completed at least 125 hours of coach-specific training, have completed 500 or more coaching hours, and have completed a performance evaluation from a qualified assessor. In summary, while both certifications represent a level of proficiency in coaching, the PCC certification requires more training and experience than the ACC certification.
